I was in Astoria shopping for a birthday outfit and needed a quick eyebrow cleanup. I came across this salon and decided to give it a try since I didn’t have much time to be picky. When it was my turn, I specifically asked the technician to “just clean my eyebrows,” expecting a minimal touch-up. Unfortunately, that’s not what I got. After she finished, I was disappointed to see that one of my eyebrows—my left—was noticeably thinner than the other, making them look uneven. When I pointed it out and said she made that brow too thin, she responded that I naturally have thin eyebrows. That felt dismissive and didn’t really address the concern I was bringing up. I also found the threading to be quite rough and rushed, which matched what some other reviewers had mentioned. Looking back, I wish I had trusted those reviews more. I’m sharing this so others can be aware—while not every review tells the full story, in this case, many of the concerns I read beforehand turned out to be accurate.
